<p>&#8220;Discover the intimate conection between the kidneys and the deep muscles</p>
<p>in your body (ex:the psoas) and how you can improve your health, flexibility</p>
<p>and emotional well being thrugh healing your kidneys</p>

<p>Through yoga/anatomy and practical exercises we will begin to understand</p>
<p>the health &amp; function of the psoas. This muscle group is the deepest in the</p>
<p>human body and directly related to all physical movement as well as</p>
<p>breathing, posture and emotional wellbeing.</p>
<p>Aligning with the season of winter, governed by the &#8216;water&#8217; element, is key</p>
<p>to balancing kidney health. Both the kidneys and the psoas lie at the core of</p>
<p>our being and represent our fundamental sense of self, strength and stamina.</p>
<p>In this 2 hour class and 3 hr workshop we will explore<br />
* The positioning and function of the psoas and how this can help our practice.<br />
* A deeper understanding and experience of the breath<br />
* Daoist pranayama &#8211; organ breath practice to balance and align the rhythms of the organs.<br />
* Practical qi gong and meridian exercises to balance the kidneys<br />
* Looking at the water element and our potential for fluid movement</p>

Den kropsfornemmelse jeg nu har fået, har medført at jeg har fået en meget større respekt for min krop, og motiverer mig til at forkæle den på andre måder, bl.a. ved at spise sundt og dyrke motion. Jeg har tabt 12 kg, og er begyndt at løbe. <h3>Simple and profound techniques to release our bodies of tension</h3>
<p>We will look at how our own knowledge of our physical body can <strong>take us so much deeper into our relationship to asana and breath work</strong>.<br />
Just a little insight into the anatomy of the human body can help us to<strong> become our own best teacher</strong>. We will be working with partners to help us understand how <strong>the power of touch can profoundly deepen our practice</strong>. Additionally we will discover how we can feel our own core &#8211; the spine – through the sole’s of or feet! From this response we can <strong>explore our own relationship to gravity</strong> and watch and enjoy our bodies unravel from stress in delicious waves, curves and spirals!</p>

<p>We will be discovering some <strong>simple  and profound techniques to unwind and release our bodies of  tension</strong>. We  can do this by inviting spontaneous and authentic movements in spirals  focusing on the spine as the central core of movement. This work is very  profound and can lead us to pure relaxation whilst practicing our  posture work in Hatha yoga. We will be <strong>discovering ways to deepen and  encourage our own personal practice</strong> following some<strong> easy steps </strong>to help us  become deeply aware of our own posture and how we can <strong>find freedom in  our everyday life</strong> as well as in movement meditation.</p>
<p><strong>This workshop has space for a maximum of 12 people, so you will be sure to get lots of individual attention and guideance<br />

<p>We  work on an individual level, so what the others do or  can is  irrelevant. The only thing you need, is your curiosity.</p>

<p><strong>Schedule</strong>: Helen will be teaching 2 times a day.  Friday  11.30-13.30 and 16-18, Saturday 10-12 and 15-17, Sunday 9.30-11.30 and 14.00-16.00.</p>
<p><strong>Transport:</strong> From Copenhagen you can fly (30 min) or take train or bus + a ferry (3 hours). You can arrive thursday if you like, or catch a train friday morning 06.37 , or take one of the flight options – for more details please email us…</p>

<p>I am really passionate about Yoga. I am interested in how we can co-ordinate  our intellectual understanding with our physical movement.<br />
Practicing yoga is not about suffering,  It’s about enjoyment and exploration. To feel liberated in your body is to be HAPPY!</p>
<p>Ideally Yoga can be easy, and simultaneously it requires effort and focus. At times it’s confrontational and challenging.<br />
Ultimate fitness for me is to be grounded and  stable and to have a quality of softness. I wish to invite authenticity, honesty and openness without judgment.</p>

<p>Each day one of our sessions will be held outdoors where we will practice amoungst the wide variety of nature on Bornholm, from the beaches to the forests. As we honour the elements and connect to the summer season, our practices are a dedication to the power and beauty of the earth.</p>
<p>Drawing on the vast experience in yoga and meditation that Solveig and Hayley bring together, there will also be aspects of qi gong, movement and energy work that compliments the more classical and Scaravelli approaches to yoga.</p>
<p>Everybody is welcome, beginners and long time experienced yoga  practitioners. We work on an individual level, so what others do or  can is irrelevant. Only thing you need, is your curiosity.</p>
